Preparations galore...

I am super excited. And very nervous. I just bought my plane ticket, so now the trip is real. I'll be in Europe in one month and one week... mmmm looking forward to spending many an hour on the plane sitting next to a rotund German man who wants to tell me the entire medical and psychological history of his family while passing gas continually, eating food that my dead cat wouldn't eat [that's saying something], and wishing that I could stuff myself in the overhead compartment. Have I mentioned how much I love flying?

I am not nearly ready. I have so much to pack... I need to get a computer bag, several plug adapters, a European hairdryer [don't judge... we all have priorities], some very attractive long underwear [32 degrees is the daily high. Awesome.], and luggage. Hmmm, that element seems to be integral to the success of my packing. Noted.

I just realized that I won't be here next semester. I have a lot of friends who are seniors...I honestly don't know when I'll see them next. It is hard to get revved up about Prague when I am leaving some amazing friends who are graduating before I get back. Plus I'll be leaving everyone, friends, family... Okay, lnelle, stop being sad.

I really should start learning czech. I've got three phrases: Ahoi, Dobry den, and proseem. Hello, Good day, please. Really, that's all I'll need. Ooh, maybe 'where's the bathroom'. Very important.
